The GAME is on

The 'C' Division boys of my school are off for their soccer tournament nw.
It's the Finals. Hopefully they got the Championship trophy.

'C' Division = lower sec = my students.
They asked me if I'm coming down for the game, and I had to say 'Not going'. It is very disappointing not being able to go. Most of the other teachers are definitely going giving thm support. (I'm so sorry..I have tons of marking to do. ) I will be cheering you guys from here tho.

They obviously are excited and anxious. I wish thm ALL THE BEST!! and also to have fun and enjoy thmselves.
(if only they make equal effort during my class. heh. )
nw tht will be something I WILL look forward to. :)

its just a bad wk.

i cried.

i cldnt stand it anymore. tht class never failed to make me feel like cryin. i just cant hold it anymore today. i tried holdin it during lesson, but once the sch bell ring n ive dismissed thm, n im back at my desk, whoosh!

silently cryin at my desk. gosh.

i dun wanna teach tht class anymore. pls.
i dun understand what the hell do they want.
neither speakin nicely nor shouting at thm helps. wat else?

sometimes i feel like ive failed my duty and responsibility as a teacher. but thn again, maybe im just too hard on myself. maybe its just me aiming and giving myself a high standard tht is impossible for me to achieve..
some of the classes i dun even enjoy goin. i dun enjoy my time 'teachin' thm. cos i dun even get the chance to impart any knowledge or even create tht lil interest in thm. cos they are just so noisy. or maybe its just me who cant handle thm well enuf. instead, i hafta 'force' thm to do their work be it gd or bad just so tht i cld get some works out of thm. which is what im really disappointed bout.

theres many more disappointing things tht happened wit other classes too this wk.
but i'll just leave it as tht, and carry on wit my wkends.
hopefully next wk will be a better wk for me.

a conversation between students and their teacher.

student1: "Tcher. Which institution were you from?"
teacher: "Temasek Polytechnic."
student1: "Woohooo!! hahahaha.. best ahhh" (with hands up)
student3 : "over there got design fashion rite?"
student2: "waahh temasek poly eh..hahaha..then tcher, do u getta see Sleeq all the time?" (smiling and grinning)
student1: "yaaa..do u see thm??"

long pause..the teacher thinks hard on how to ans.

teacher: "hah hah hah...yes i do see thm."

pause again..

students: "wah gerek seh..getta see thm.."
teacher: "actually, one of them is even my fren..no wait, junior. hahaha.."

tht left the students all so excited and happily smiling.
oh how ive made their day. haha!!
altho i do wonder why izit so exciting..maybe cos ive seen thm everyday, so its like a norm for me. heh...
